Dear Parents:
During this week the students will learn about “heavy and light”. The children will do several exercises and experiments with different weights. To reinforce fine motor skills the children will do several tracing activities. The main reason for doing these exercises is to develop good writing habits in the children. Vertical lines need to start at the top, and horizontal lines begin at the left side. Circles follow a counterclockwise direction. Please encourage these good habits at home.

This week we will introduce community helpers. We will take a walk around the school campus to get to know all the people who works and helps us every day here at Discovery School. The students will make a book with all the information they gather.

Thanks so much to the DPTO officers who came to talk about dental health, the children enjoyed watching the educational video, the visit of Dr. Muelitas and the dental care package.
